CABRA MONTES WINES

Mendoza Province, produced by Bodega Bernasconi
Cabra Montes Merlot
A mention of the Andes brings the vision of a vast wilderness that remains desolate and stunningly beautiful. Once the realm of the ancient Incan Empire, these mountains soar higher than those of any other range but the Himalayas. For centuries, this has been the home of one of Nature’s most agile and elusive creatures, the Mountain Goat (Cabra Montes), which lives among these untamed mountains, steppes and lakes. Today, these foothills are also the home of the vineyards of Cabra Montes.

Chardonnay

Delicate vanilla and white flower aromas and a light golden honey color. The flavors are pear, peach and pineapple, with just a drop of citrus lime. Serve with fruit salads, fish and grilled or roasted chicken.

Merlot

Classic, deep purple colors with dry herb and plum aromas. Blackberry and red cherry flavors enhanced by a silky texture, balanced tannins and a smooth, satisfying finish. A great partner with salmon, pasta with red sauce, soft cheeses or pizza.

Cabernet Sauvignon

Deep blackberry in color and packed with cassis and red fruit aromas. Layers of smooth, fruity flavors with a touch of spice and mint with smooth tannins. Enjoy with your favorite red meat dishes and rich chocolate deserts.
