We all know a Black Sheep. That someone out of the ordinary. Someone who calls
your attention, who intrigues you. Oveja Negra is a reflection of different people and
personalities who like to stand out from the herd.
The Oveja Negra line focuses on making unique and interesting blends of 2
varieties that compliment and enhance each other resulting in wines with
character and captivating personality.
The grapes selected for Oveja Negra are sourced from VIA which has more than
2,200 acres of its vineyards spread throughout Chile’s major wine producing
valley's
(Casablanca, Colchagua, Curicó, and Maule). These valleys are specially selected
which allow for the grapes to reach
the maximum varietal expression from each productive region.

Chardonnay/Viognier
85% Chardonnay - 15% Viognier. A light straw color in color. Rich fruity nose of
apricot, banana and green apple with subtle mineral notes. Tropical fruits,
apricot and green apple flavors with a medium body and soft, elegant finish.
Pair with Thai food, seafood dishes and white sauce pastas.

Cabernet Rosé
A bright and lively cherry red color. Expressive with strawberry apple and rose
petal aromas. Medium bodied with fresh red berry and tropical fruit flavors. Dry
finish. A perfect partner with roasted ham and turkey dishes.

Cabernet Sauvignon/Syrah
70% Cabernet Sauvignon - 30%Syrah. This smooth red wine has colors of dark
purple with glints of ruby red. Blackberry and black cherry aromas with a touch of
spice. Medium bodied with black cherry, licorice and subtle mint notes on the
palate. Enjoy with most grilled foods and spicy cuisine.

Cabernet Franc/Carménère
80% Cabernet Franc - 20% Carménère. Deep purple with ruby red glints. Black
cherry, blackberry laced with chocolate and coffee-bean aromas. Rich with blackberry
jam and toasty coffee flavors with a slight spicy dry finish. A great wine to
pair with most red steak dishes in heavy sauces, or for a change in pace
enjoy with a rich chocolate dessert.
